Discounts
With the GRONAUENERGIE+ app from Stadtwerke Gronau, you receive a 50% discount on the admission price for a familyon every 4th Saturday of the month.
As a holder of the RUHR.TOPCARD, you receive one free admission to the permanent exhibition and any temporary exhibitions.
As a member of the ADAC Club, you will receive a 15% discount on the admission price for an adult on presentation of your membership card.
RWE Card – On presentation of the RWE Card you will receive a 15% discount on the admission price for one adult.
As a member of the Friends of the NRW-Stiftung, you will receive a 50% discount on the admission price for an adult on presentation of your membership card.
As a member of the EMP Backstage Club, you will receive a reduced admission price of €6.66 for up to 5 people upon presentation of your digital club card from the EMP app .
The rock’n’popmuseum has an elevator,
a disabled toilet and stable wheelchair ramps, so it is barrier-free.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the museum.

Your way to us
Gronau is located in the north-west of NRW not far from the Dutch border and is easy to reach by car or train. Our museum is located in the immediate vicinity of Gronau train station and the city center on the grounds of the Inselpark.
The address Udo-Lindenberg-Platz 1 is not suitable for entering into a navigation device, as it is not permitted to drive directly to it by car.

Gronau by car
The city is located on the A 31 (Emden-Ruhr area) and A 30 (Amsterdam - Hanover - Berlin) highways. Due to its proximity to the Dutch city of Enschede (6 km), there is a direct connection to the Benelux highway network.
Our museum is just a few minutes’ walk from the following parking lots , most of which are available free of charge.
- Gronau train station (Bahnhofstraße 41)
- Gronau train station (Losserstrasse)
- Open-air area ("Schotterplatz") between the train station and Inselpark > Disabled parking spaces are not separately designated or signposted.
- Outdoor area at the Bürgerhalle (Spinnereistrasse 20)

- Parking lot Alter Schloßplatz

Gronau by train
Gronau (Westf.) can be reached with the regional train lines RB 51 (Dortmund - Gronau - Enschede) and RB 64 (Münster - Gronau - Enschede).
