Thomas Steinberg was a presenter at 1Live when a new chapter of radio was opened in 1995 - fresh, loud, close to the attitude to life of an entire generation. Today, he shapes the program of WDR 4 - and shares a biography that many listeners have in common with him.
Janina Ribeiro represents the perspective of a generation that has grown up with different listening habits today, but is curious about the stories and spirit of the early years. The dialog between past and present creates a vivid picture of what radio meant back then - and what it still means today.

Vanja Sky is Croatia's answer to Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones - and has long been a fixture on the international blues and rock scene.
Her musical roots lie deep in the blues, inspired by legends such as Rory Gallagher, Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. At the same time, Vanja has the energy and attitude of rock: raw, honest and full of passion. With her distinctive voice and vintage sound, reminiscent of Joan Jett, she combines tradition and modernity in a unique way.

Bertram Engel is one of the most influential drummers in German rock history. He has been a musical companion to Udo Lindenberg and Peter Maffay for almost five decades. In his reading performance, Bertram Engel takes the audience behind the scenes of his extraordinary career. Based on his autobiography of the same name, he talks with humor, depth and great openness about legendary studio moments, creative friction, friendships and successes - straight from the horse's mouth. A personal, entertaining stage program with many stories about Udo and the Panikorchester - in keeping with the special exhibition "Udo L. lives in the hotel".
