Oceankids
Turbine music club Udo-Lindenberg-Platz 1, Gronau, NRW, DeutschlandDie Nixen" will be performing the family musical "Oceankids" at the rock'n'popmuseum on February 16. The string quartet from Berlin combines environmental themes with music and the exchange of cultures in an exciting and imaginative way with their musical "Oceankids". Using artistic costumes made from old jeans, fabric remnants, CDs and used bicycle inner tubes, sustainability also becomes visible on stage. Accompanied by the sound of the sea and classical melodies, heart-wrenching musical songs and cool raps, all children are invited to be "Oceankids" and take the future of the planet into their own hands. "Die Nixen" are Rahel Rilling (violin), Katharina Wildhagen (violin), Kristina Menzel-Labitzke (viola) and Nikola Spingler (cello). The string quartet has a classical background and has been delighting audiences with its cross-genre concert programs for almost two decades.
