Crisp, snotty, cheeky, always to the point!
Eyes wide open. Youth spent on the highway. Over 600 concerts in Europe. Numerous respectable successes on festival stages. Various albums, samplers, EPs and music videos finally brought this band into ... Lockdown. Rest. Breathe. Then it took a few years to regroup.
In early 2025, someone put the four guys with instruments on a bus and sent them on tour with Kapelle Petra and the Alex Mofa Gang. This someone had a pretty lucky hand, because shortly after the first chord, the PEALS from Ibbenbüren turned the clubs into a huge steam boiler with their danceable and energetic guitar songs.

Gum Bucket are celebrating the release of their third studio album "Closer" with an album release concert on March 28, 2026 at Musikclub Turbine. The new album will be released on February 27, 2026 on all major streaming platforms and marks an important milestone in the band's history. Closer was created in 2025 during a conscious creative break and combines seven new, energetic songs with three newly remastered older tracks.
The band will be supported by their friends Bugs in a Trap from Gescher, who will open the evening.

In an analysis that is as angry as it is clever, author and journalist Sonja Eismann shows how deeply sexism and ageism are anchored in music, media and fan culture. She talks about the male gaze, sexualized song lyrics, sexist music journalism, abuse of power - but also about resistance, self-empowerment and feminist counter-designs by artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Peaches. A stirring evening about pop, patriarchy and the possibility of loudly breaking through it.
